Yoyo Glove redirect[edit source]
The Terrarian sports a wide wing shaped profile that was designed to easily take down enemies in the game and confidently slay the riskiest tricks in real life! The wide profile is comfortable in the hand and thanks to a new machining technique, One Drop was able to distribute the weight evenly enough to give this extra wide. This class isn't just a burden you have to pass through. This class is the door to many possibilities of how you'll build your character, so choose wiselly what class your character will turn into, or just remains as a Terrarian until you have no idea, or don't want to change class at all.
First off all, here are are a few links that will get you started: But before you do anything, be sure to read the guidelines They'll give you general information about you are allowed to do and what you aren't. After defeating the final boss, you have a chance to get ahold of the Terrarian, the ultimate yo-yo in the game. Now you have the chance to get one in real life; onedrop and Re-Logic have collaborated to officially bring the Terrarian to life in the real world. Terrarian has a step-straight profile reminiscent of the Benchmark 2014. From One Drop: In Terraria, you need to kill the Moonlord to have a chance to get a Terrarian yo-yo. That chance is exactly 11.11%, repeating of course. It's the best weapon in the game, and the best version is the one that rolls with the 'Godly' modifier.
Can someone please explain to me why Yoyo Glove Redirects here? As far as I can tell, they are separate items. Mew4ever23 (talk) 18:11, 3 July 2015 (UTC)

Notes or other section like achievement addition.[edit source]
What can't there be an edit to state that you can obtain the achievements sick throw and throwing lines at the same time if you gave yet to use a yoyo Skybreaker8769 (talk) 15:54, 9 March 2017 (UTC)
- It isn't necessary, as those are already listed under Achievements. – Ferretwings(talk) 21:02, 9 March 2017 (UTC)
Sneak upgrade of the Terrarian?[edit source]
Just been playing the game again lately, and today I've just got a Terrarian with no mods, straight from the Moonlord in Normal mode.Stats were : Damage 239, crit 16%, and quality Purple. See here:
Did I miss a sneak upgrade? Or something else?Meanwhile, I've edited the page, please don't hesitate to revert my changes if I messed something up.
- Did you make sure to un-equip all armor and accessories and cancel all buffs? All values are taken directly from the source code (including the rarity), hence you likely experienced a bug. For my part I fail to remember getting an un-modified Terrarian with Purple rarity. I reverted the edits. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 13:17, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
- Oh, you are right, I had no idea an item could switch quality color just with the buffs from the inventory. And as you said, the base stats were the ones mentioned originally, which are indeed directly modified in the display according to the worn bonuses. I didn't know that, sorry for the trouble. - ZeBix78 7 February 2019
- No worries, no harm was done! --Rye Greenwood (talk) 16:53, 7 February 2019 (UTC)

Again, YOYOS CANNOT OBTAIN THE LEGENDARY MODIFIER.[edit source]
Sick of having to update wikis every day because some edits a page *cough* The Terrarian saying it can get the Legendary modifier. C h e e s e (talk) 17:31, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
- I've replaced the text with the proper template. Hopefully nobody messes with it. --172.58.175.67 17:34, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
- This is WRONG. Try reforging it in 1.4.0.4 and it will eventually get the Legendary modifier. I would upload a screenshot but can't be bothered to make an account just for that. (EDIT: It get's +17% damage ; +8% crit ; +17% knockback, this looks very much like Godly but a bit stronger) -- 95.90.214.149 23:44, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
- I looked into the code of the game a bit and in Terraria.Item.Prefix(int pre) there is a check if the item is the Terrarian and if so it is possible to get Prefix ID 84 (Legendary is usually 81). This is displayed as Legendary but there are slightly different effects (see above). -- 95.90.214.149 00:19, 29 May 2020 (UTC)
- Here's an image. Stop turning it back, Legendary is real for at least the Terrarian. Somebody else test the other Yoyos for me, I'm changing the wiki page to say that Legendary is the best prefix now. ImmortalZypther (talk) 00:29, 29 May 2020 (UTC)
- More proof. ImmortalZypther (talk) 00:35, 29 May 2020 (UTC)
I see no mention in the changes of 1.4 stating that it can get the Legendary modifier. It might be overkill, but hell, those might be screenshots of a modded version, or even fake screenshots. Until I have been proven wrong, I insist that the Terrarian CANNOT get the Legendary modifier. Plus, why would they only add it to one yoyo, and not all of them? It makes no sense. C h e e s e (talk) 21:23, 29 May 2020 (UTC)
- It's been verified in the source code: Item.cs line 993, reforge checks whether the item is ID 3389, which is the Terrarian, which increases the number of possible random modifiers to include modifier #84, which is 'Legendary2'. I hope we can consider the matter closed. Equazcion(talk) 21:29, 29 May 2020 (UTC)
Hm, strange. You can't actually get it from reforging. Maybe it's an unobtainable item? C h e e s e (talk) 21:30, 29 May 2020 (UTC)
- If it were unobtainable it wouldn't be coded that way. Unobtainable means stats or graphics exist but there's no code to actually provide it; however the code I refer to is what does cause the game to provide it. Equazcion(talk) 21:33, 29 May 2020 (UTC)
- Can indeed be obtained through reforge. Only took me 3 tries. Equazcion(talk) 21:38, 29 May 2020 (UTC)
- The fact that it can become a Legendary Terrarian is possibly due to the fact that OneDrop released the Legendary Terrarian. — Philo04 21:57, 29 May 2020 (UTC)
- If you want more proof of it existing, download the Builder's Workshop map and reforge it yourself. 3 people in this thread have found that the Terrarian can get the Legendary modifier, 2 of which have responded with their findings in the source code with one of the users being an administrator on this wiki. Embed On Your WebsiteBefore you get started creating your own, you may be wondering: what exactly is a terrarium?
What is a Terrarium?
A terrarium is a collection of small, decorative plants growing in an enclosed environment. Terrarium containers are typically transparent and provide an opening big enough to allow the gardener to access the plants inside. The best part about a DIY terrarium is that you get to create something one-of-a-kind.
We've got you covered with everything you need to know about how to make a terrarium. From definition and inspiration to creation and care, you'll be enjoying your miniature garden in no time at all. Before you roll up your sleeves, let's make sure you have all the supplies you'll need to get started.
DIY Terrarium Supplies
- Glass Vessel – You'll need some sort of glass vessel to create your terrarium. There are plenty of unique containers from which to choose. Just make sure that the vessel is made of a transparent material so you can enjoy your mini-garden.
- Small Stones or Pebbles – Small stones or pebbles will be used as the base of your terrarium. The small pebbles act as water drainage for the plants' roots to ensure that excess water doesn't stay in the soil and cause rot.
- Activated Charcoal – You won't need much; a thin layer of activated charcoal keeps water fresh and helps to fight off bacterial growth in your terrarium.
- Potting Soil – Potting soil will act as an important layer for your DIY terrarium. Any type of soil should do the trick, although there are special mixes available if you're planting cacti or succulents.
- Plants – It wouldn't be a terrarium without the greenery. Pick out a few of your favorite pint-sized plants to use in your terrarium. Air plants, succulents and mini-cacti are all viable options. See our complete list of recommended terrarium plants below.
- Small Gardening Tools – Having small tools handy will help you create and situate all of the items in your DIY terrarium.
Best Plants for Your DIY Terrarium
When selecting plants to use for your DIY terrarium, there are a few things you should keep in mind:
- Select plants that are small enough for your glass vessel. You won't want any greenery touching the sides of your container and making your terrarium feel cramped.
- Plants that do well with humidity are most likely to thrive in your terrarium. Although succulents and cacti aren't humidity's biggest fans, you can compensate by using a glass container with a slight opening, like the one we used for this tutorial.
Whatever plants you select, you can keep them healthy by mimicking their natural environment in your terrarium. We recommend choosing a few from the list below:
- Air plantTillandsia stricta
- Moon Valley Pilea involucrata
- Starfish plant Cypthathus bivittatus
- Nerve plant Fittonia verschaffeltii var. argyoneura
- Assorted succulents
- Assorted cacti
Once you've picked out the perfect plants, it's time to get started. Follow our step-by-step guidelines below and you'll be on your way to creating your own decorative garden in no time at all.
How to Make a Terrarium Step-by-Step
Project Time: 30 mins
Step 1: Cover the bottom of your terrarium with a 1 ½ inch-thick layer of small stones or pebbles.
The bottom layer of small pebbles will act as drainage for your terrarium.
Step 2: Add a very thin layer of activated charcoal.
The activated charcoal will keep water fresh and fight off any bacterial growth in your terrarium.
Step 3: Add a layer of potting soil.
As we mentioned, any potting soil mix will do, although if you're planting succulents or cacti there are specialized mixes you can use. You'll want to add enough potting soil so that it's deep enough for your plants to root into it. We recommend a layer that's about 2 ½ inches. For this particular terrarium, we used 2 inches of potting soil.
Step 4: Now it's time to add your plants. How to wipe a thumb drive clean.
- Start by planting your largest plant first. Remove the plant from its container and prune the roots as you would when repotting any plant.
- Then, make a hole in the soil large enough to fit the plants' roots.
- Next, nestle the plant into the soil. It's easiest to work your way from the back to the front of your terrarium. There's no rhyme or reason to the design of your terrarium, play around with the arrangement and don't forget to have fun!
Pro Tip: Use gloves when handling cactus or any other prickly plant.
Step 5: After all of your plants are arranged in your glass vessel, complete the look with a layer of pebbles.

You can also opt to add some personality to your terrarium with miniature gnomes or trinkets.
Once your terrarium is complete, you'll need to take proper care of it. Sunlight and water are two essential items for the success of your terrarium.

- Be sure to lightly water the base every two weeks or once the soil looks like it has dried out.
- You should also display your terrarium in an area that receives a lot of bright, indirect sunlight.
